The form also contains an anti-spam field that legitimate visitors are expected to leave empty. It is used to reject automated submissions and is not saved as part of an accepted inquiry.

For accepted inquiries, the application stores the submission date and time and a one-way hash derived from the request IP address and an application secret. The application does not store the raw IP address in the contact message record and does not store a user-agent value with that record.

How we use your information

We use contact information to:

• review and respond to your inquiry;
• communicate about products, sourcing, export, logistics, or related business requirements you ask us to discuss;
• maintain an administrative record of the inquiry and its response status;
• protect the form and website from spam, misuse, and security threats; and

Business purpose for handling information

We handle the information because it is needed to take the steps you request when you contact us, to manage prospective or current business communications, and to operate and protect the website. Any legal basis required by applicable law will depend on the context of the inquiry and the resulting relationship.

Contact form communications

Accepted inquiries are saved in the website database and are available to authenticated administrators. When a recipient address is configured, the website also sends the inquiry by email to the designated company recipient so the team can respond. We may reply using the email address or phone number you provide.

Storage and retention

Contact messages are stored in the website database. Email notifications are handled through the mail service configured for the website. Access to stored messages is limited through the authenticated administration area.

We retain inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage the related business communication, protect our operations, and meet applicable obligations. The website does not currently enforce a fixed automatic deletion period.

Information sharing and service providers

Information may be available to authorized members of our team and to providers that support website hosting, database storage, security, and email delivery. Those providers process information in connection with the services they provide. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or a valid legal process.

The website does not use contact form information for behavioral advertising, and no analytics or marketing integration is currently installed on the public site.

Cookies and local storage

The website uses essential session and cross-site request forgery (CSRF/XSRF) protection cookies to support contact-form security, validation feedback, success messages, and authenticated administration. These cookies are not used for advertising.

Your public light or dark theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage under barracuda-theme. The administration theme uses barracuda-admin-theme. These values are local-storage entries, not cookies, and contain only the selected theme preference.

No analytics or marketing cookies are currently set by the website.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled through the website. These include form validation, request throttling, anti-spam checks, protected administration routes, and security-focused response and session settings. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Barracuda Export Company Ltd supports international business inquiries. If you contact us from outside Egypt, the information you submit is transmitted to and handled by our team in Egypt so that we can respond and discuss your requirements.

Children's privacy

This corporate website and its business inquiry form are not directed to children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the website, please contact us so the circumstances can be reviewed.
